The Norwegian Constitutional Day is often celebrated in bunad, the traditional Norwegian costume. A bunad is typically hand made and boasts brooches and buttons in silver and gold. The heritage, craftsmanship and time that is put into a bunad makes it the most precious and expensive outfit for many Norwegians. The different colors and patterns represent the wearers geographical attachment.
