Clean minimalism and neat comfort. Sca Ulven has just launched their fourth collection.
Marte Ulven and Sarah Christina Andersen, known as the designer duo Sca Ulven (est. 2010) aren’t interested in getting any particular message across – other than that of providing flattering and comfortable clothing in soft fabric, and with beautiful colors and prints.
Their fourth and latest collection is all about delicate materials such as soft cupro and cotton. Their elegant jackets are produced in wool and knit, and deep colors such as gray and blue are perfect for the coming fall.

It was just a few weeks ago that Sca Ulven presented their collection at the Garden of God Gallery at Copenhagen Fashion Week, in collaboration with Artrebels and Danish Fashion Institute. The showcase was held to shed light on sustainability in Scandinavian brands.
- Sustainability is important to us. We want to promote a good working environment.
- Even though it’s expensive to use only ecological products, we try to make sure we can defend all parts of production. That’s why we’re using European providers. It’s easier to communicate with them and visit the factory when needed, Andersen tells us.
Sca Ulven is all-Scandinavian design: Marte is from Norway, Sarah is from Sweden, and their current working place is Copenhagen. Though the duo is already well established in the Scandinavian fashion industry, they still believe they have a long way to go.
- The future is bright, but not easy. We’ll continue doing what we do now – and slowly, but steady promote our brand and develop both the design and ourselves in the process.
Sara believes that the Norwegian fashion industry in general is on the rise, as well.
- There are so many great brands that we admire, and companies like NFI (The Norwegian Fashion Institute) are doing a great job to raise the level of quality and promote fashion as an important industry. We feel lucky to be be a part of the exciting upcoming future of the Norwegian fashion industry.
